Today I'm wearing these Sequin Wedges from New Look:
'A statement party shoe. Peep toe design with criss cross front strap and buckle fastening on ankle. All over sequinned design with high 14.4cm wedge heel.'
And whilst I was at it, I also bought this Multi Stripe Satin Tunic:
'Satin effect dress perfect for a smart casual look. Scoop neck design with capped sleeves. Narrow horizontal stripe design descending into thicker stripes with a light weight loose fitted effect. Button up back fastening complete with diamante stripe buttons'
I don't mind buying (no offence, New Look) fairly low quality, cheap and cheerful items as long as they replace older inexpensive treats from the high street. These shoes replace a pair of once-patent-now-scuffed pair of black heels and this dress replaces both a blue patterned satin minidress and a similar black and blue stripe cap-sleeve dress, both of which were purchased in 2007 for about a tenner each.
Streamlining and updating my wardrobe. It just makes good sense.
