I think there was only one look (teeny tiny hot pant shorts) which wasn’t wearable and extremely covetable. I loved the printed mini dresses and glamorous maxis and my favourite separates were the metallic leather flared skirts pared with chunky neutral knits.
This was more grown-up than previous rock'n'roll-heavy collections; AW12 was a modern take on Gucci-esque 70s glamour with blonde models, gold eyeshadow, slinky fabrics and sexy slits in maxi dresses.

A patterned (volcano? lava?) print ran through the collection in a warm palette of burnt orange, deep red, golden yellows and purple. Texture was a big focus with a mixture of contrasting fabrics and fringing, pleating and draping.

I've always liked the sisters' work, but this was my first Felder Felder show and it was excellent. If this is what AW12 looks like, roll on autumn…
