I ripped my faithful black leather bomber jacket when I was visiting mon frere in Amsterdam in summer 2009. I wore it ripped afterwards, but it didn't look punk rock, more... punk scrap. Not a good look.
So I've been half-heartedly looking for a replacement bomber/biker ever since but I've decided to ramp up my search because every girl needs one in her wardrobe; especially this season to toughen up all the sugary pastels and girly, summer bright colours.
Topshop has some rather snazzy biker jackets at the moment, from neutral leathers to statement brights... I like the coloured and metallic versions going round, but I think I'm going to stay classic and go back to black. Any recommendations?
