A couple of weeks ago I travelled to Colchester in Essex to watch Keith Musto (who was a silver medallist in the Tokyo Olympics in 1964 and then founded the royally-appointed, top-of-the-range sailing brand Musto in the sixties) on the Olympic torch run. Despite the rain - of course, British summer! - the crowds were out in force and the atmosphere was great.
After seventy days and 13 million people lining the streets as the Olympic flame travelled the country, it's the last day today with the torch weaving through the streets of London before reaching Stratford for the opening ceremony this evening.
Did you see it?
