Today I went to Burghley Horse Trials for the first time which is held at Burghley House, the large, beautiful Elizabethan building in Cambridgeshire with even larger grounds.
I met Olympic medallist William Fox-Pitt, watched some horses do their thing, ate lunch on the Land Rover lawn, got rained on a lot but stayed waterproof in Musto. If you're heading to the three day event tomorrow or this weekend, make sure you bring your boots.
