The fashion industry's favourite silk shirts are by Equipment, but I couldn't resist this dusty bright blue blouse in washed silk by Sandro from my recent splurge at their sample sale in Paris. The fabric feels so beautiful to wear, cobalt blue is probably my favourite colour and it was 60% off; how could I resist?
Here I'm wearing it with a zebra print zipped cardigan coat thing Pull and Bear gave me a couple of months ago, which has proved invaluable for winter layering, to wear over dresses but under warm coats (not that you need it actually - I can't believe how mild it is in January) and a mesh and leather trim skirt I picked up at a boutique in Normandy in the summer. Note to self: my black studded leather ankle boots need a good shoe polish.
