Last night it was all about the American launches; I went to the opening of GANT's new store on Regent Street and DKNY's new fragrance launch. GANT artfully combine traditional American style with a European flair and the wooden, Ralph Lauren-esque space suited the brand well. Split over two floors, the spacious flagship caters for all things East Coast-inspired: nautical stripes, boat shoes, rugby shirts under the new Rugger collection and lots of sweaters to be worn over the shoulders. There were some nice dresses modelled by girlies, a DJ spinning dance tunes and hella cocktails.
Adding to their Delicious range of fragrances, DKNY launched their new limited edition perfumes yesterday. The Candy Apple trio consists of Sweet Caramel, Ripe Raspberry and Juicy Berry and will be sold for three months from April. I chose Ripe Raspberry as my favourite - an unusual blend of apple, lime, peony, lily and cola accord. It's not so much berry, it's more fresh with a clean burst of citrus and a mouthwatering fruity smell good enough to eat...
