I just ffffound Paul Gabor's work, who was a Hungarian typographer and designer with an extremely distinctive graphic style. He created strong imagery for magazine covers, books and posters; very bold, brightly-coloured and Bauhaus.
A selection of his work was recently featured on Le Monde's design journal, Design & Typo le blog to bring his portfolio to wider audience. I'd never heard of him but boy, oh boy am I a fan.
