bracelets from Shashi? I bought the yellow one from
Shopbop.com to fuel my neon addiction...
This woven cord bracelet features faceted gold-plated beads. Adjustable sizing. Available in yellow, pink, green and orange.
Shashi was created by Ruby Kobo's designers Yuvi Alpert and Danna Kobo, who wanted to create a second jewellery collection which was more casual than their first line. They were inspired by temple bracelets handed out during Hindu prayer ceremonies, the religious strings embedded with glittering stones that symbolise friendship, love and good luck.
My only concern is that I don't think the metal nuggets are plated in quite enough gold, as the beads are already appearing tarnished... Hmm.
