Monochrome is huge this season. It was all over the catwalk at London Fashion Week in September and it's subsequently exploded onto the high street, taking over whole walls of Topshop and Zara stores.
Two designers jumped out at me at LFW with a nice take on black and white, offering a bright neon pop of colour: avant-garde Belgian designer Bruno Pieters uses vivid highlighter yellow as an accent in his honest by. collection I saw at the Estethica presentation at Somerset House and Central Saint Martins graduate Liz Black uses flashes of hot pink in her work showcased at Vauxhall Fashion Scout. Sharp.
