I have more blue dresses than you can shake a stick at. My colleague in Paris first alerted me to it when browsing sale items in Galeries Lafayette in January ("no, you don't need another blue dress") and when I moved back to London and took the rest of my wardrobe out of storage, I realised I had about 20. Still, if it ain't broke, don't fix it - navy blue is one of my favourite colours and I prefer dresses to separates, so here's the latest navy blue dress to add to my collection.
My friend works at Arcadia and picked it up in a sample sale for me - I don't know which brand it is, Dorothy Perkins or Topshop, I think - and it's a good day-to-night dress, suitable for the office, drinks and dinner, midweek or weekend. I'm wearing with multicoloured crystal drop earrings and pink McQueen heels sipping champagne on the roof of the beautiful Cafe Royal Hotel overlooking Piccadilly Circus.
