I'm much more of a silver girl than gold - with blue eyes, quite fair skin and dark hair, I've always gravitated towards cool colours over warm colours, so the majority of my wardrobe is black, greys and blues (have I mentioned I like blue dresses?) paired with silver jewellery. But every now and then, gold jewellery catches my eye and these star pieces from Newbridge Silverware did just that.
Established in 1934 in Ireland as a cutlery manufacturer, Newbridge Silverware now offers jewellery, watches and gifts alongside homeware, and recently collaborated with Irish actress Amy Huberman on a capsule collection. The 14 carat gold-plated necklaces, bracelets and earrings feature symbolic charms: an elephant for strength, key for success, sun for power, wishbone for luck, star for inspiration and a heart for love. Here I'm wearing the star necklace, (delicate studs not pictured) and bracelet stacked with other pieces from J.Crew, Henri Bendel, Folli Follie and vintage market finds with this gorgeous, girly lilac and neon tweed vintage jacket from Jaeger I love bringing out every spring.
