The founder, René Lalique, revolutionised the beauty industry by selling perfume in beautiful vessels for the first time and, as you'd expect from a cristallerie, the Lalique fragrances today are always housed in beautiful flacons. L'Amour is no exception: the heavy, clear glass is decorated with a floral pattern, topped with gold and dressed with a black tassel.
The scent is a floral, woody musk with top notes of fresh bergamot, soft neroli and elegant rose, white flowers in the middle with intoxicating jasmine, tuberose and gardenia, and heady, lingering base notes of cedar, sandalwood and musk. It's currently £100 down to £38 over on allbeauty.com.
