Two weekends ago, Julien and I finally got round to celebrating our engagement with 40 of our nearest and dearest at one of our favourite places in Fitzrovia: Villandry on Great Portland Street.
We got engaged in Japan way back in April (blogpost all about that special cherry blossom-filled day coming soon), took 16 weeks to design my engagement ring, and held a little shindig with our friends and family almost four months to the day. I wore a red and pink (my favourite colour clash) Kate Spade silk dress, Astley Clarke sterling silver jewellery, super-comfortable black patent leather Clarks heels (for 8 hours on my feet) and a massive grin all night.
